Air Conditioning

All public areas are fully air conditioned. Guest rooms and suites have individually controlled air conditioning.

Airline Reservations

Concierge can assist with airline reservation confirmations or changes.

Airport Transfers

If you would like to arrange a car transfer to/from the airport, please let us know.

Car transfers are as follows:

London Heathrow to DUKES: £80 for up to three people. Return: £70
Journey time: approximately 55 minutes (traffic dependent)

London Gatwick to DUKES: £125 for up to three people. Return: £120
Journey time: approximately 80 minutes (traffic dependent)

City Airport to DUKES: £80 for up to three people. Return: £70
Journey time approximately 35 minutes (traffic dependent)

Larger vehicles are available, please contact Concierge for details.

Baby-Sitting

Available through Reception. Please give 24 hours notice if possible.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy requires all amendments and cancellations to be finalised by 2pm local time the day prior to the arrival date (24 hours). Any changes following this time will result in cancellation charges if the room remains unsold on the night.

Car parking

Valet parking is available. 24 hour car parking is £58. Kindly allow 15 minutes for your car to be brought to the hotel.

Car rental is available on request. Please contact the Concierge to arrange.

Cheques/checks

We regret that personal and company cheques cannot be exchanged for cash or accepted for payment.

Our Concierge will be delighted to organise transport, theatre and exhibition tickets among many other services. Feel free to call or visit the Concierge desk at any time during or prior to your arrival at DUKES.

Doctor

Our hotel doctor is available 24 hours a day. Contact Concierge to call out the doctor or for further details of other medical facilities.

Dry cleaning, laundry and pressing

Same day and express dry cleaning and laundry services are available Monday to Saturday.

DVD Players

DVD players are available on request.

Electrical adaptors/convertors

The electrical voltage in the United Kingdom is 240 volts. Adaptors or convertors for 110 volt electrical equipment are available from Reception.

The hotel fax number is +44 (0)207 493 1264. Incoming faxes are free of charge.

Foreign Currency and Travellers Cheques

Most foreign currencies and travellers cheques can be exchanged at the Reception desk at any time.
